I didn’t want to either. I’d eaten them for decades, why start now right?

Feeling your feelings is the answer to ending your emotional eating.

Our emotions are the compass of our lives. They tell us things. They point us to what we want and away from what we don’t want.

Feel good? Things are working. Keep heading that way, doing that thing, thinking those thoughts.

Feel bad? Something’s not working. What is it? Fix it, feel better, no need to eat. See how it works?

Ironically, negative emotions are a gift that can actually help us to feel better and live happier lives.

You’ve got to feel them first and understand them. 

But most of us are eating over them instead of listening to what they’re trying to tell us, and we can’t hear what they’re saying over the crunching and munching of cookies and chips.
