“I’ll start again tomorrow.”
You won’t. Here’s why.
It’s a promise you try so hard to keep with yourself. SO HARD.
But tomorrow you end up eating something you vowed you wouldn’t eat. Then you talk to yourself like a d!ck about it and proceed to eat your face off.
You tell yourself you’ll start again tomorrow.
But tomorrow never comes.
Because whatever happened in your life today that you’re eating over will still be there tomorrow.
You’ll still feel stressed at work.
You’ll still be pissed off by family dramas.
You’ll still feel unworthy and talk to yourself like a d!ck sometimes.
And you’ll still eat to try and feel better about all of it. And then you’ll make a promise to yourself that you’ll start again tomorrow.
A promise you can’t keep.
Because tomorrow you don’t just magically wake up and suddenly know how to manage your emotional life without turning to food.
We hope that’s what’ll happen when we make the promise to start again tomorrow but it doesn’t. It can’t. Because you’ve got to learn how to do it.
And if you already knew how… you’d be doing it.
So if you’re ready to stop eating your face off when sh!t hits the fan, you can learn how to work with me here.
